Summertime

Henry and Jack getting a drink of water
Can you see that dimple?

SO serious

He looks nude, but he has a swim diaper on!

Teething is not fun!

Henry is taking his 1st steps!

Henry just started walking! He is only taking a few steps, but I finally captured it!
GO HENRY GO!
This is how it usually goes ..... Standing -

Going down -

Down -

oops, down on the ground

But ALWAYS happy!

Jack & Henry LOVE their Daddy!

We spent our afternoon out in the backyard, and Jack and Henry couldn't get enough of "Daddy Time"
Henry LOVED getting to be a big boy!
Jack having a moment with his Dad

I love Jack's expression!

Nothing sweeter!

Fun at the Beach!

We spent our Memorial Day at Port Aransas with our friends the Johnson's and the Collinsworth's. It was so beautiful!

Henry is a natural beach baby

My sweet boys! They are starting to play together and I just love it!

I think it is cool how you can see their reflections in the water

They would have stayed in the water all day!
Jack couldn't get enough of digging in the sand.

Taking in the ocean

Henry had no fear, he would have crawled out into the waves.

Henry was SO dirty, and SO happy!

Trying to eat the sand ....

Enjoying the beach with my boys!

Hanging out in Port A.

We rented a little buggy and the boys loved it!

Well Henry wasn't so sure at first, but he warmed up :)

Jack was so happy that he could ride up in the front seat!

Driving down to the beach!

Our feet!

You have to get your picture in the big shark!

U.S.S. Lexington

We made a quick stop at the U.S.S. Lexington and Jack loved it! We will have to make another trip back to Corpus Christi to take the tour. Jack was especially amazed by the Blue Angels!
I tried to get a good picture of the U.S.S. Lexington, but it is HUGE!
Christian and Jack walking down, can you see them?
Waving to Mommy & Henry

Jack did NOT want to leave!

We even had to get Jack his own Blue Angel, can you see it in his hand?

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Just wanted to wish our friends and family a VERY Happy Memorial Day Weekend! We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable time with friends and family. Don't forget to remember the men and women who have served (and our serving) our country - our family is forever grateful!

I am sorry I don't have pictures of the kids to add. We are headed to Port Aransas this weekend so I'm sure I'll get some cute pics at the beach :) Our friends have invited us down to their condo and we are looking forward to a mini-vacation!

House Update - we got our appraisal for our damages from the flood and we are hoping to get things going by next Wednesday. We will be picking out our flooring on Saturday - wahoo! It is amazing how dirty my house is with dust and construction remnants.

And on a personal note, I am no longer a blonde ;) I'm sure I'll be a blonde again, but I decided to be my natural brunette for now.

Flood Update

As most of you know from our previous blog updates, our home flooded last Wednesday because our water pressure was too high and it caused one of our toilets to break. Water flooded our living room, master bedroom, master bath, laundry room, hall and Henry's room! We have had fans, de-humidifiers and heaters in our home for the past 3 days in order to dry up all the water. Luckily the house is now 100% dry and the extremely noisy equipment is gone! Tomorrow we have a meeting with our insurance claims adjuster and we will go from there.

Hopefully we will get some good news tomorrow and be able to start some repairs by next week. I'll keep ya'll updated with pictures to come!

First Dip in the Pool - 2010

We headed to our neighborhood pool for our first dip of 2010! Henry is a total water baby and loved every minute! Jack is getting used to the water again and is nervous about "going under". Last year Jack was jumping off the side and going under with Daddy ... it is just going to take a little bit longer for Jack to get comfortable again. We hope to have Jack "swimming" by the end of summer :)

Henry a little nervous at first.

Enjoying a post-swim beverage, ready for ride home!

Having chips before their bath. Jack was so sweet sharing his chips with Henry. Jack would take one chip out at a time and they would both grab it and split the chip in half - and laugh. It was SO cute! In this picture they are both looking up at their Daddy.

My chubby little guy! His pediatrician said he was "skinny" .... um, did she not see that belly!

Soccer Party

SO proud of their trophies! Jack talked about his all day! The team went to Big'z after the game for an end of the season celebration .

Mackenzy on her actual birthday! Enjoying some chicken nuggets at Big'z

Henry doing his "hands up!" SO CUTE, I love the littlest Teague!

Here is Jack's 1st trophy! I wonder how many of these he will collect?

Enjoying his celebratory cupcake!

Jack's Soccer Team Pics

Trying to get the kids ready for their picture :)
Come on Strikers!

Jack with his best buddy - Max

Time for a drink

Donovan, Jack and Averi - enjoying the tire swing

At last a group picture. I took at least 20 pictures of this pose and could never get all of the kids looking at the same time. 3 year olds are hard to tame ;)
Top Row: Max, Averi, Anthony, Coach Linda & Coach Eddie
Bottom Row: Jack, Donovan, Lauren and Seth
Jack's last game is next week!
